Rescue Me ID: 15-01-18-00159Oliver (male)

Black and Tan Coonhound Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Needs Vaccinations

Oliver is a very sweet beagle (possible coonhound mix) puppy with great energy and is house trained (occasional small accident when he's excited) Loves chewing on his toys (and sometimes socks). He has had his first round of vaccinations and heart medicine. He has separation anxiety and is quite vocal about it, which with our apartment living situation is the reason why we have to let him go. He is very lovable, loves naps, loves attention and walks. We are hoping he can go to a great home that can provide him with what he needs! He has food bowls, some toys, and a very large bag of food that we are able to provide

Black and Tan Coonhound Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Vaccinations Current

SHERLOCK is a male mix breed. He's tall and lanky enough that he could be a Lurcher, or possibly a hound mix of some sort. Sherlock has been a little shy at first at the shelter. He doesn't pull on his leash and just enjoys being next to people. He does fine outside on a leash and running out in the yard. He is a fairly young dog, probably only around a year or so. He is currently on the prowl for a new home. Could that be you?

This boy NEEDS a home!!! I brought him home to bond with my dog Chance for when I go to medical school in 6 months. However, mom can't take the stress of another animal in the house right now. Today, I had to let him go back to the shelter, which was the hardest thing I've ever done. I only had him for 4 days, but I'm heartbroken and a mess. Let me tell you a little bit about him. They're guessing that he's a Coonhound mix, about 40 pounds, and between 2-5 years old. The shelter also named him Marco. I was calling him Brewski, which he responded to after only a couple hours. After having plenty of dogs, everything that I saw that ... (Read More)supposedly tells you a dog's age...I'd be willing to bet money that he can't be older than 2. The shelter named him Marco. I was calling him Brewski, which he responded to after only a couple of hours. I potty trained him in only 3 days. He's exceptionally smart, perceptive, and knows all of the basic commands. He does NOT chase cats (we have 6, he never bothered them), he does NOT shed, and he was even good around our bunny. He loves giving kisses and sleeps well throughout the night (no whining!). We bonded so quickly and he made me feel so safe. He'd be great with even the smallest of kids. Pull his tail, his ears, hands in his mouth, he doesn't care. He just wags and gives tongue-out smiles. If you or anyone you know is looking for an amazing family dog, PLEASE visit him at the Animal Adoption Foundation on US 27 near Ross, Ohio. This is their website and contact info: I want him so badly to have a home, but that just can't be with me right now. For his sake I want him to be adopted before I have the chance to a few months from now. He's so good. I just want him to know there's life and love outside of a cage as soon as possible. Questions welcome. (Less)
