Lola is a good natured Black and Tan coon hound mixed with either Beagle or another smaller hound breed. She weighs a slim 40 pounds at 2 years of age. Her birthday is January 5, 2012, and she was a puppy when she first came to HELP. She is housetrained, and past the chewing stage. Lola doesn't bay or howl like hounds normally do, and she rarely barks...she will whimper when she needs (or wants) to go outside. Lola absolutely LOVES cats, and will keep close tabs as if she is babysitting them. She needs a job to do whether it is keeping track of her inside friends or checking out the squirrels in the yard. Lola can and will jump a 4 ft. ... (Read More)fence, so a 6 ft. fence is mandatory to keep her safe! Lola is a sweetheart with people! She will cuddle and sleep in her foster mom's bedroom at night. She is great with all the dogs in her foster home too! Lola is an athletic type girl with a high energy level outdoors! Walks, runs, or backyard activities would be great fun and exercise for her! She is fun to interact with and a great companion dog ! Someone with an active family or another active dog to chase and run around with would very happy with Lola! Please call her foster mom Ruth Ann with any questions at 630-879-1324. An online application is required to visit and possibly adopt. Lola is waiting patiently for her own special family! (Less)
