Rescue Me ID: 14-09-24-00002Millie (female)
Millie is an extremely sweet and loving dog. She is beautiful and well behaved off leash and on. She came to me after being in a shelter for almost 6 years and has had some trouble with house training. She thrives on consistency.

Rescue Me ID: 14-06-17-00390Hendrix (male)
Hendrix was at a high kill shelter with his mother and out of time. He seems to have had minimal people contact as he was very shy, submissive and had certainly never been walked on a leash before. He is a doll! Very sweet playful once he knows you won't hurt him loves the grandkids. He's good with other dogs. He now knows how to walk on a leash and is crate trained. Guess on breed he is 40 pounds, and about 9 months old. Heartworm negative neutered and current on vaccinations, plus microchipped. A current or past vet you have used for pets number is required for us to call for a reference prior to adoption. We have many other rescued dogs available also to choose from. Contract on adoption. Brighton IL. Transport option may be available. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 13-08-16-00538Big Foot (male)
Big Foot is a gangly, snuggly, fun, puppyish, playful and sweet, one-year-old, 60-pound, tri-color Hound/Dane-mix looking for a loving guardian. Big Foot is a friendly, clumsy, long-legged boy who was rescued form a West Virginia pound. He is living in a foster home where he has proven perfectly housebroken. He quickly taught himself to use his foster dad's doggie door. He gets along beautifully with most dogs, but he does like to play rough and doesn't seem to know his own strength. This tall and goofy guy still needs to put on some weight so he'll probably be at least 70 pounds when he fills out. He needs some lessons in commands and how to walk like a gentleman on leash, but he's great in the car and not at all toy or food-aggressive. Big Foot is very healthy, de-wormed, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative. If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Big Foot, please fill in the on-line adoption application at http://famousfidorescue.com/rescueforms/machform/view.php?id=26727 and follow up by contacting Gloria at email@example.com or 773-907-0305. His adoption fee of $200 benefits the rescued pets of Famous Fido's. He's currently living in a foster home in Wadsworth, Illinois. (Less)
